Hurry, hurry....now wait!!

"The waiting is the hardest part." Well, whoever said that surely knows the sentiments I have been feeling for the past eight days.

It's been my experience that waiting for test results is never ending (also, always timed over a weekend!!) However, after reading through some of the stories on this website, I am humbled at the real worry that families have been through while in the pursuit of medical treatment for their loved ones.

If not for The Reidel & Cody Fund, my family would still be going around on the merry-go-round waiting for Duke's chance to catch the "golden ring." Thanks to invervention by the deciding committee, Duke has been able to have the procedures, that were necessary to allow him to have a more favorable outcome.

So, while waiting for his results (you know the clean margins) I have been including some special prayers for all my "new cousins" that make up The Reidel & Cody Fund community.
