I went in to work yesterday and the guy who was working had to leave as his dog, who was also suffering from cancer, and getting treatment, was bad. Just all of a sudden went bad. I thought, How lucky I am that Princess is responding to treatment. I don't know how much longer it will go on, but right now I am just glad that she is and I am thankful for everyday with her.
Princess's groomer is out of town until the 20th. So she really needs her nails cut, I called her vet to see if I could just bring her in and have them cut. No big deal right, well it appears to be so, she said I only have one vet here and one tech and it can't be done until Monday. I could not believe that, I have been bringing Princess there for eleven years, and they could not find 5 minutes to cut her nails. I am done with them.
Her blood work was fine and she was able to take her chemo pills. A very tiring 2 days. Princess had her two cousin dogs staying here, but they have left now. She was very good and put up with them. Even though they are both bigger than her, they know that she rules the roost. Way to go Princess, she's a tough old lady.lol She will give that cancer a run for it's money!
