My Weekend Away

Our neighbors who Tango and Gretchen used to visit all the time moved away about six months ago and anytime it works out that they can still go and visit in their new place it's great.
This past weekend Tango and Gretchen got to go and spend Friday and Saturday night with them. They have two dogs as well, Jake and Shorty. Jake Tango and Gretchen have knows each other for years and they all get along great. The newest addition to the group is Shorty and he has his moments when he thinks everyone should be listening to him.
They are only about a 40 minute drive and Tango is excited the entire ride there, Gretchen usually just lays down and relaxes. Once we get there you can tell they know where they are, Tango and Gretchen both start barking and want out. We let them run around the back yard first just to be sure they don't have to do anything after the ride and then into the house where Jake and Shorty were waiting.
Our former neighbors love both of them and are almost as excited as they are to see them. Tango does this funny 'smile' when asked, it's really quite cute, and Gretchen is just a tongue with a dog attached lol.
Tango and Gretchen get to play in the yard with Jake and Shorty all weekend and they always get plenty of love and cuddling from everyone there.
On Sunday we went to pick them up and they are both always very glad to see us then it's usually a fairly quiet ride home, all the playing tires them out.
Tango is still doing very well and still behaving like his old self. We have the radiation treatments scheduled at this time and are trying to get enough funding/money together to get them all paid for.
