Bio:
Sebby was adopted from the wild at about 8 weeks. I had been feeding his grandmother and mother for about a year and a half before that. I picked him out, because even as a kitten, he was easy going compared to his litter mates. I adopted his mother after Sebby by holding Sebby in my hands, in my apartment, with the door open - Molly Lynn came in to nurse him despite her fear. Sebby is still a very easy going cat. He can be demanding and willful - will open partially shut doors to get outside and cabinet doors for food. He vocalizes alot. He plays/fights with Molly Lynn and enjoys going outside when I am home to supervise. I don't think he is crazy about his treatments, but is very good at them. He loves to be petted. He is a very good and loving kitty.

Details you'd like to share about your pet's cancer:

I took Sebby in for a routine teeth cleaning at BVH on January 14, 2011. A mass was discovered in his intestines. No teeth cleaning. Ultrasounds and x-rays followed. He was referred to New England Veterinary Oncology Group as Bolton Veterinary Hospital knew he had cancer, but were not sure what exactly. Sebby was diagnosed with Lymphoma at NEVOG and a treatment regimen of chemo was prescribed. Sebby is currently in treatment - he goes to NEVOG tomorrow, 4/19/2011. He has also been getting acupuncture about once a week from Dr. Stickney. I give him various supplements that Dr. Stickney and I have agreed on. He does not like the pills, but takes them.
The last time Sebby was at NEVOG, Dr. Abbo said he was doing as well or better than expected - two weeks ago. Sebby goes outside when I am home and plays/fights with his mother - Molly Lynn. He seems to be doing OK - knock on wood. He will get an ultra-sound in two weeks. Sebby is not a hard cat to treat. He does not like doctor visits but puts up with it. He mostly cries in the car all the way to Waltham where NEVOG is. He is good once he gets there. I keep praying for him and am grateful for any prayers sent his way.

Sebby goes to NEVOG tomorrow and gets acupuncture on Wednesday.

How is Sebby doing? He's been on my mind since Fetch. Looking forward to a positive update soon. :) Kristie Sullens -- Angel's Mama.
